Egg Coaster Pattern

Pattern Overview

About the Pattern

I created this pattern forever ago when I originally made the egg bag. There are 2 different egg shapes, so you can alternate and flip the pattern to create something like the banner above. The pattern can also be used to make coasters, patchwork clothing, bags, banners, etc. Knowledge of tapestry crochet is required, but the pattern otherwise is very simple and quick.

Below you’ll find two options for a pattern. The graph and one that is written out!

If you create something with this pattern, please tag me in it! I would LOVE to see it <3

Pattern is for personal use only.

Materials Needed

This entirely depends on what project you are creating with the pattern. To create one of the squares in the image above, here are the materials I used

  • 25g of a light worsted DK for the background

  • 10g light worsted DK for the egg white

  • 5g light worsted DK for the egg yolk

  • 3.5mm hook

  • scissors

  • tapestry needle
