This is an instant download of a zip file that contains a left-handed version of the pattern and a right handed version of both patterns. The pattern includes the graph, written pattern, stitchfiddle link and numerous instructions and videos to make crocheting this accessible.

This pattern is for crocheters with some experience with color work, but is fairly beginner for tapestry crochet. The finished pieces if you use materials listed below is 14in x 25in (36cm x 64cm) This is with the piece blocked as well.

Materials needed:

• 3.5mm crochet hook

• ~370 yards (150g) of light worsted/dk weight purple yarn for the background

• ~70 yards (25g) of light worsted/dk weight light grey yarn for the blade

• ~140 yards (50g) of light worsted/dk weight black yarn for the handle and border

• ~15 yards (5g) of light worsted/dk weight medium grey yarn for the line down the blade

• ~15 yards (5g) of light worsted/dk weight dark gray yarn for the handles and shadows

• Scissors

• 2 dowels or sticks approximately 15 inches (38cm)

• Tapestry needle (to weave in ends)
